अर्जुनों यमजौ चोभौ द्रौपदी च यशस्विनी । स च भीमो महातेजा: सर्वेषामुत्तमो बली
arjuno yamajau cobhau draupadī ca yaśasvinī | sa ca bhīmo mahātejāḥ sarveṣām uttamo balī ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。アルジュナ、双子の二人、名高きドラウパディ—そして大いなる光輝を放つビーーマもまた—皆のうちで力において最も勝れていた。語りは、パーンダヴァたちの並外れた力量と道義の決意を際立たせ、その力を、支配のためではなく、正しき忍耐を支える拠り所として示している。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights that true excellence includes both capability and character: the Pandavas’ superior strength and splendor are presented as resources meant to uphold dharma and endure hardship, not as grounds for arrogance.
