Transliteration
tān avekṣya kṛśān pautrān vane vanyenajīvataḥ
Translation
孫たちがやせ衰え――森にあって野の糧で命をつないでいるのを見て――ヴァイシャンパーヤナは胸を打つ光景を語り、流謫の苦難と、逆境の中で一族が背負う道義の重みを際立たせる。
