Report of Draupadī’s Abduction and the Pāṇḍavas’ Pursuit
व्याभाषमाणाश्षान्योन्यं न मे जीवन् विमोक्ष्यसे । सर्वे शस्त्रास्त्रमोक्षेण पौरुषे समवस्थिता:
vyābhāṣamāṇāś cānyonyaṃ na me jīvan vimokṣyase | sarve śastrāstramokṣeṇa pauruṣe samavasthitāḥ ||
互いに叫び合い言葉を投げ合うさなか、彼は宣言した。「生きては逃がさぬ。」その誓いとともに、皆は男児の決意に堅く立ち、武器と飛び道具（アストラ）を放つ備えを整えた—言葉は退き、誇りと生存を力に賭ける戦の冷厳な掟が前面に出た。
