द्रौपदी-शैब्यसंवादः — Draupadī’s Identification and Counsel on Hospitality
अधिगम्य व्यथाविष्ट: कर्णस्तौ प्रत्यभाषत । दुःशासन और दुर्योधनको इस प्रकार दुःखी होते देख कर्णके मनमें बड़ी व्यथा हुई। उसने निकट जाकर उन दोनोंसे कहा--
adhigamya vyathāviṣṭaḥ karṇas tau pratyabhāṣata | duḥśāsanaṃ ca duryodhanaṃ caivaṃ duḥkhitau dṛṣṭvā karṇasya manasi mahān vyathā samabhavat | sa upagamya tayor ubhayor idam uvāca ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ドゥフシャーサナとドゥルヨーダナが悲嘆に沈むのを見て、カルナの胸は激しく痛んだ。彼は二人のもとへ進み寄り、言葉をかけた――それは味方への忠義と、危急において諫言すべきダルマの要請から発したものであった。
