धृतराष्ट्रस्य क्रतु-प्रवर्तनम् तथा पाण्डवानां निमन्त्रण-प्रतिवचनम्
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Sacrifice Commences and the Pandavas’ Reply to the Invitation
ताननादृत्य गन्धर्वास्तद् वनं विविशुर्महत् । यदा वाचा न तिष्ठन्ति धार्तराष्ट्रा: सराजका:
tān anādṛtya gandharvāstad vanaṁ viviśur mahat | yadā vācā na tiṣṭhanti dhārtarāṣṭrāḥ sarājakāḥ ||
彼らを顧みることなく、ガンダルヴァたちはその広大な森へと踏み入った。理にかなった言葉に従わぬとき、ドリタラーシュトラの子らは—王をも伴って—たちまち制し難き者となり、諫言をも押しのけて前へ前へと突き進むのである。
