Transliteration

tato 'parair avāryanta gandharvaiḥ kuru-sainikāḥ | te vāryamāṇā gandharvaiḥ sāmnaiva vasudhādhipa, tatas te khecarāḥ sarve citrasenam nyavedayan |

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ついでクル軍は、別のガンダルヴァたちによって制止された。彼らは和睦を願う柔らかな言葉でのみ諫めたが、兵らはその忠告を侮り、なお森の奥へ踏み込んだ。ドゥルヨーダナ王を伴うカウラヴァ一同が、言葉による制止にもかかわらず止まらなかったので、天空を行くガンダルヴァたちは事の次第をすべてチトラセーナ王に奏上した。
