अपतन् भूतले राजंश्छिन्ना भ्राणीव सर्वश: । राजन! देवताओंके बाणोंसे विदीर्ण हुए वे दैत्योंके शरीर सब प्रकारसे छिन्न-भिन्न हुए बादलोंके समान धरतीपर गिरने लगे
apatan bhūtale rājaṁś chinnā bhrāṇīva sarvaśaḥ | rājan devatānāṁ bāṇair vidīrṇāḥ te daityānāṁ śarīrāḥ sarvaprakāraṁ chinna-bhinnāḥ badalān iva dharītale patitum ārabdhāḥ ||
マールカンデーヤは言った。「王よ、神々の矢に裂かれ貫かれたダイティヤたちは地に倒れた。その身体はあらゆるところで砕け、断ち切られ、雲の塊が落ちるかのように大地へと崩れ落ちた。」
