एवं दश दिश: सर्वास्तिर्यगूर्ध्य च भारत । नादयामासुरसुरास्ते चापि निहता मया,भारत! इस तरह वे असुर इधर-उधर ऊपर-नीचे दसों दिशाओंमें कोलाहल करते और मेरे हाथसे मारे जाते थे
evaṁ daśa diśaḥ sarvāstiryagūrdhya ca bhārata | nādayāmāsur asurās te cāpi nihatā mayā, bhārata ||
ヴァーユは言った。「かくして、バーラタよ、十方すべて――左右の彼方にも、上方にも――アスラどもは大いなる喧噪を轟かせた。だが彼らもまた、我が手により討ち倒された。乱暴な騒ぎがいかに四方へ広がろうとも、正法にかなう力の前には終焉を迎えるのだ。」
