आरण्यकपर्वणि अध्यायः २१६ — इन्द्र-स्कन्द-संमुखता वज्रप्रहारश्च
Indra approaches Skanda; vajra strike and the arising of Viśākha
त्वया विनिकृता माता पिता च द्विजसत्तम | अनिसृष्टोडसि निष्क्रान्तो गृहात् ताभ्यामनिन्दित
tvayā vinikṛtā mātā pitā ca dvijasattama | anisṛṣṭo 'si niṣkrānto gṛhāt tābhyām anindita ||
狩人は言った。「おお、婆羅門の中の最勝者よ。あなたは母と父に不義をなした。両親に許されぬまま家を出たのだ——生まれながらに咎なき身でありながら。ダルマにおいて、親の同意なく去ること自体が過ちである。なぜなら、親に仕えることは第一の務めだからだ。」
