पञ्चवर्णोत्पत्तिः — The Origin of the Five-Colored Fiery Being and Ritual-Disruptor Lineages

ततो मोक्षे प्रयतते नानुपायादुपायत: । सम्पूर्ण जगतको नश्वर समझकर वह सबको त्यागनेका प्रयत्न करता है। तत्पश्चात्‌ उचित उपायसे मोक्षके लिये सचेष्ट होता है। अनुपाय (प्रारब्ध आदि)-का अवलम्बन करके बैठ नहीं रहता

tato mokṣe prayatate nānupāyād upāyataḥ |

そののち彼は解脱(モークシャ)を求めて励む。真の手段ならぬものにすがるのではなく、正しい方便を採るのである。全世界が無常であると見定め、あらゆる執着を捨てようと努め、ついで正しい戒と修行によって積極的に解脱を追求する。運命や過去業の惰力といった「方便ならぬもの」に寄りかかって座しているのではない。
