गुरुशुश्रूषणं सत्यमक्रोधो दानमेव च । एतच्चतुष्टयं ब्रह्मन्‌ शिष्टाचारेषु नित्यदा,ब्रह्मन! शिष्टाचारी पुरुषोंमें गुरुकी सेवा, सत्य-भाषण, क्रोधका अभाव तथा दान-ये चार सदगुण सदा रहते हैं

Transliteration

guruśuśrūṣaṇaṁ satyam akrodho dānam eva ca | etac catuṣṭayaṁ brahman śiṣṭācāreṣu nityadā ||

Translation

狩人は言った。「師に対する恭敬の奉仕、真実を語ること、怒りなきこと、そして施し—婆羅門よ、この四つの徳は、教養と規律の道を生きる者に常に備わっている。」
