मार्कण्डेय उवाच एवं स छन्‍्द्यमानस्तु वरेण हरिणा तदा

Transliteration

Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca: evaṃ sa chandyamānas tu vareṇa hariṇā tadā

Translation

マーラカンデーヤは言った。「かくしてその時、彼は—鹿が差し出した恩寵の約束に促され、また惑わされて—前へと引き寄せられ、約束された報いの誘惑によってその決意は形づくられた。」
