वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the risk of being led astray by single-minded pursuit: when one chases a goal without adequate support or reflection, one can be drawn far from allies and protection, making later duties harder to fulfill.
A person follows a wild animal while relying on only one horse; the animal deliberately draws him far away, creating distance and isolation that sets up subsequent events in the episode.
