नरश्रेष्ठल धनके लोभसे ब्रह्मचारी भी आश्रमोंमें दम्भपूर्ण आचारको अपनायेंगे और मद्यपान करके गुरुपत्नीगमन करेंगे। लोग अपने शरीरके मांस और रक्त बढ़ानेवाले इहलौकिक कर्मांमें ही लगे रहेंगे ।।

Transliteration

bahupāṣaṇḍasaṅkīrṇāḥ parānna-guṇavādinaḥ | āśramā manuja-vyāghra bhaviṣyanti yugakṣaye ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「人中の虎よ、時代の終わりには、あらゆるアーシュラマ（四住期）は多種多様な異端の見せかけと混乱に覆われる。人々は他人から得た食を褒めそやし、それを追い求め、アーシュラマの規律は内側から空洞化する—外の標（しるし）が内なる自制に取って代わり、ダルマは食欲と偽善へと堕してゆく。」
