कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

ततो बालेन तेनास्यं सहसा विवृतं कृतम् । तस्याहमवशो वकत्रे दैवयोगात् प्रवेशित:,तदनन्तर उस बालकने सहसा अपना मुख खोला और मैं दैवयोगसे परवशकी भाँति उसमें प्रवेश कर गया
tato bālena tenāsyaṁ sahasā vivṛtaṁ kṛtam | tasyāham avaśo vaktre daivayogāt praveśitaḥ ||
するとその子は、にわかに口を大きく開いた。運命のめぐり合わせにより、私は—抗いがたく、まるで強いられるかのように—その口の中へと引き込まれた。
