इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि मार्कण्डेयसमास्यापर्वणि तयशीत्यधिकशततमो< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत मार्कण्डेयसमास्यापर्वमें एक सौ तिरासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi mārkaṇḍeyasamāsyāparvaṇi trayāśītyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』の「ヴァナ・パルヴァ（林住篇）」、その「マールカンデーヤ・サマーシャ・パルヴァ」と呼ばれる分段において、第百八十三章は終結する。この結語は章の完結を告げ、森の流謫譚のうちに教えを位置づける。そこでは聖仙たちが、記憶され継承される伝統を通して、ダルマ（dharma）への省察を伝えてゆくのである。
