इन्द्रस्य पाण्डवैः समागमः
Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas
शुशुभे स महाबाहुर्गदाखड््गधनुर्धर: । निहत्य समरे सर्वान् दानवान् मघवानिव,उस समय गदा, खड़्ग और धनुष धारण किये महाबाहु भीमसेन समरभूमिमें सम्पूर्ण दानवोंका संहार करके खड़े हुए देवराज इन्द्रके समान शोभा पा रहे थे
śuśubhe sa mahābāhur gadākhaḍgadhanurdharaḥ | nihatya samare sarvān dānavān maghavān iva ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。すると、棍棒と剣と弓を携えた大腕のビーマセーナは、戦場に燦然と立った。戦いにおいてダーナヴァをことごとく討ち果たし、マガヴァーン（インドラ）のごとく輝いていた。この詩句は、破壊の力を屈して秩序を回復する武威として彼の働きを描き、正法護持のために節度をもって用いられる力を讃える。
