Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas
तमासीन॑ महाकाया: शड्कुकर्णा महाजवा: । उपोपविविशुर्यक्षा राक्षसाश्न॒ सहस्रश:,विमानपर बैठे हुए कुबेरके पास कील-जैसी कानवाले तीव्र वेगशशाली विशालकाय सहसौरों यक्ष-राक्षस भी बैठे थे। जैसे देवता इन्द्रको घेरकर खड़े होते हैं, उसी प्रकार सैकड़ों गन्धर्व और अप्सराओंके गण कुबेरको सब ओरसे घेरकर खड़े थे
tam āsīnaṁ mahākāyāḥ śaṅkukārṇā mahājavāḥ | upopaviśur yakṣā rākṣasāś ca sahasraśaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。クベーラがそこに座すと、巨躯にして敏捷、耳は杭のごとく尖る強大なヤクシャとラークシャサが、幾千幾万とその近くに座を占めた。さらに、神々がインドラを取り囲むように、ガンダルヴァの一団とアプサラスの群れも四方からクベーラを囲み、整然たる敬意のうちに侍した。
