bhaḍaktvā śūlaṃ gadāgreṇa gadāyuddhaviśāradaḥ

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。棍棒戦に通暁する彼は、棍棒の先端そのもので槍を打ち、粉砕した。鍛錬の規律と臨機の心が、戦場の熱気の中でも致命の武器を凌ぐことを示したのである。
