Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)
कमलोत्पलकटछ्लारपुण्डरीकसुगन्धिना । सेव्यमाना वने तस्मिन् सुखस्पर्शेन वायुना,उस समय कमल, उत्पल, कह्नलार और पुण्डरीककी सुन्दर गन्ध लिये मन्द मधुर वायु उस वनमें मानो उन्हें व्यजन डुलाती थी
kamalotpalakaṭacchlārapuṇḍarīkasugandhinā | sevyamānā vane tasmin sukhasparśena vāyunā ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。その森では、蓮・青蓮・紅蓮・白蓮の香りを含み、肌に触れて心地よい微風が、まるで扇のように彼らに仕え、荒野の暮らしの中に安らぎをもたらしていた。自然そのものが、節度をもって苦難に耐える者への静かな支えとなり得ることを示しているかのようであった。
