A divine utterance (ākāśavāṇī) commands immediate reverence: even the most authoritative human groups—sages, ritual experts, and rulers—are shown as humbled before higher moral and cosmic order, reminding kings in particular that power must remain accountable to dharma.
A celestial voice is heard from the sky. The entire assembly reacts with amazement, with sages, brāhmaṇas, and especially the kings experiencing heightened astonishment, indicating that an extraordinary, divinely sanctioned message has entered the scene.
