Educational Q&A

Act with discernment and prioritize a close relative’s true welfare (priya-hita), while seeking and accepting rightful protection; duty is framed as beneficent service rather than mere loyalty.

Vaiśampāyana conveys an instruction to depart on a journey: the addressee, praised as wise, is urged to go for the brother’s benefit, with assurance of a safe, trouble-free route under Vāyu’s protection.
