केसरोत्करसम्मिश्रमशोकानामिवोत्करम् | हिरण्मयीनां मध्यस्थं कदलीनां महाद्युतिम्,सुवर्णमय कदली-वृक्षोंक बीच विराजमान महातेजस्वी हनुमानजी ऐसे जान पड़ते थे मानो केसरोंकी क्यारीमें अशोकपुष्पोंका गुच्छ रख दिया गया हो
vaiśampāyana uvāca | kesarotkarasammiśram aśokānām ivotkaram | hiraṇmayīnām madhyasthaṃ kadalīnām mahādyutim |
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。黄金の芭蕉樹のただ中に、赫々たる光を放つ剛勇のハヌマーンが現れた。それは、サフランの床にアショーカの花房を置いたかのような吉祥の輝きであり、正しき奉仕に用いられる力への畏敬を人の心に呼び起こした。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse uses auspicious natural imagery to frame Hanumān’s power as luminous and worthy of reverence—suggesting that true might, when aligned with dharma and service, becomes spiritually elevating rather than merely intimidating.
Vaiśampāyana describes Hanumān’s appearance: he stands radiant amid golden plantain trees, compared to a cluster of aśoka blossoms placed upon a saffron bed, emphasizing his extraordinary brilliance and auspicious presence.
