त॑ वज्ननिष्पेषसममास्फोटितमहारवम्‌ | श्रुत्वा शैलगुहासुप्तै: सिंहैर्मुक्तो महास्वन:,पर्वतोंपर वज्रपात होनेके कारण उस ताल ठोंकनेके भयानक शब्दको सुनकर गुफाओंमें सोये हुए सिंहोंने भी जोर-जोरसे दहाड़ना आरम्भ किया

Transliteration

taṁ vajra-niṣpeṣa-samam āsphoṭita-mahā-ravam | śrutvā śaila-guhā-suptaiḥ siṁhair mukto mahā-svanaḥ ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。――その恐るべき轟音、まるで金剛の一撃が砕き落とすかのような腕打ちの大音を聞いて、山の洞窟に眠っていた獅子たちは目を覚まし、声高く咆哮し始めた。
