ददृशु: सर्वभूतानि महाबाणधनुर्धरम् न ग्लानिर्न च वैक्लव्यं न भयं न च सम्भ्रम:
dadṛśuḥ sarvabhūtāni mahābāṇadhanurdharam na glānir na ca vaiklavyaṁ na bhayaṁ na ca sambhramaḥ
あらゆる生きとし生けるものが彼を見た――弓と大矢を携える偉大なる射手を。そこには疲れも、怯みも、恐れも、狼狽もなかった。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of inner steadiness: true strength is shown not only by martial capability but by freedom from fatigue, fear, and mental agitation—qualities expected of a dharmic hero.
The narrator describes how all beings witness a formidable archer armed with great arrows and a bow, and emphasizes his unshaken composure—no weariness, no discouragement, no fear, and no confusion—marking him as extraordinary in presence and resolve.
