इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत तीर्थयात्रापर्वमें लोगशती र्थयात्राके प्रसंगमें जन्तूपाख्यानविषयक एक सौ अद्ठाईसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti prakāraṃ śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi antargate tīrthayātrāparvaṇi logaśatīrthayātrāprasange jantūpākhyānavिषayaka ekaśatāṣṭāviṃśatitamam adhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ

Translation

かくして『マハーバーラタ』森林篇（Vana Parva）に属する聖地巡礼篇（Tīrtha-yātrā Parva）において、ロガシャ（Logasha）の聖なる渡しへの巡礼の次第に関連し、「ジャントゥ・ウパーキャーナ」（Jantu-upākhyāna）と呼ばれる物語を扱う第百二十八章は終わる。これは、巡礼をめぐるより大きな叙述の中で、この教説と物語の一区切りを告げる正式な奥書（コロフォン）である。
