त्वरमाण: स चोत्थाय सोमक: सह मन्त्रिभि: । प्रविश्यान्त:पुरं पुत्रमाश्चासयदरिंदम:,तब शत्रुदमन राजा सोमकने मन्त्रियोंसहित उठकर बड़ी उतावलीके साथ अन्तःपुरमें प्रवेश किया और पुत्रको आश्वासन दिया
tvaramāṇaḥ sa cotthāya somakaḥ saha mantribhiḥ | praviśyāntaḥpuraṃ putram āśvāsayad arindamaḥ ||
そのときソーマカ王は急ぎ立ち上がり、群臣を伴って内宮へ入った。そこで王は、敵を屈するその子を慰め、恐れの時に心を定める言葉を授けた。
लोगश उवाच
A king’s dharma includes timely action and emotional steadiness: he must respond quickly to danger or distress, seek counsel, and strengthen those under his care—beginning with his own household—so that fear does not erode right conduct.
Somaka urgently rises with his ministers, enters the private inner quarters of the palace, and consoles his son, restoring his confidence at a tense moment.
