The verse frames greatness as grounded in righteous action and sacred association: the Lord’s extraordinary deeds are recalled alongside his companionship with Baladeva and his dwelling among Brahmins, highlighting strength guided by dharma and reverence for spiritual communities.
Arjuna addresses Kṛṣṇa with reverent epithets, recalling earlier exploits performed even in childhood, noting Baladeva’s support, and mentioning Kṛṣṇa’s stay in the abode of Kailāsa with Brahmins—setting a tone of remembrance and inquiry into divine history.
