Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly
अभ्यागच्छति दाशाहें प्रज्ञाचक्षुनरिश्वर: । सहैव द्रोणभीष्माभ्यामुदतिष्ठन्महायशा:
abhyāgacchati dāśārhe prajñācakṣur nariśvaraḥ | sahaiva droṇabhīṣmābhyām udatiṣṭhan mahāyaśāḥ ||
ダーシャールハ（シュリー・クリシュナ）が近づくと、名高き王ディリタラーシュトラは—盲目でありながら、理解によって「見る」者として—ビーシュマ、ドローナとともに直ちに立ち上がった。この場面は、国が戦の瀬戸際にあってもなお、クリシュナの道義的・政治的威徳に対して宮廷が儀礼として敬意を払うことを示している。
