Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly
tato rathena śubhreṇa mahatā kiṅkiṇīkinā | hayottamayujā śīghram upātiṣṭhata dārukaḥ ||
The verse highlights dharmic readiness: a servant or attendant should respond promptly and with disciplined respect, bringing the proper means (here, the well-prepared chariot) for the task at hand—an ethical model of responsible service.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Dāruka quickly arrives to attend, bringing a magnificent, bell-adorned chariot yoked with excellent horses—signaling immediate preparation for the next royal or strategic movement.
