पर्यस्तां पृथिवीं सर्वा साश्वचां सरथकुञ्जराम् । यो मोचयेन्मृत्युपाशात् प्राप्तुयाद् धर्ममुत्तमम्
vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | paryastāṃ pṛthivīṃ sarvāṃ sāśvācāṃ sarathakuñjarām | yo mocayen mṛtyupāśāt prāpnuyād dharmam uttamam ||
ヴァイシャṃパーヤナは語った。「馬と戦車と象とを伴うこの全大地は、まるで覆され、滅びへと雪崩れ落ちんとしている。これを死の縄目から解き放とうと努める者—その者のみが、最上のダルマを得る。」
