कृष्णेन विदुरं प्रति आगमन-हेतु-निवेदनम् / Krishna explains the purpose of his coming to Vidura

अनुपासिततवृद्ध त्वाच्छियो दर्पाच्च मोहित: । वयोदर्पादमर्षाच्च न ते श्रेयो ग्रहीष्यति

Transliteration

anupāsitatavṛddha tvācchiyo darpācca mohitaḥ | vayodarpādamarṣācca na te śreyo grahīṣyati ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「ドゥルヨーダナは、長老に仕えたことも、その言葉に耳を傾けたこともない。王の富貴から生じた驕りに惑わされている。さらに若さの誇りに酔い、パーンダヴァらへの怨みを燃やしているゆえ、そなたが彼自身の益のために与える健やかな忠告でさえ、受け入れはしまい。」
