कुरुसभायां केशवागमन-सत्कारविधानम् / Preparations to Honor Keśava at the Kuru Court
स शालिभवन रम्यं सर्वसस्यसमाचितम् | सुखं परमधर्मिष्ठम भ्यगाद् भरतर्षभ
sa śālibhavana ramyaṃ sarvasasyasamācitam | sukhaṃ paramadharmiṣṭham abhyagād bharatarṣabha ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「バーラタ族の雄牛よ、彼は安らかに道を進み、実りきった稲田の麗しい広がりを眺めた。そこにはあらゆる穀物が豊かに満ちており、その富はダルマの務めを果たし、ダルマを支えるに最もふさわしいものと見なされた。」
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse links material abundance—especially well-tended crops—to the support of dharma: prosperity is portrayed as ethically meaningful when it sustains righteous duties, social welfare, and orderly life.
