Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure
तेभ्य: प्रयुज्य तां पूजां प्रोवाच मधुसूदन: । भगवन्त: क्व संसिद्धा: का वीथी भवतामिह
tebhyaḥ prayujya tāṁ pūjāṁ provāca madhusūdanaḥ | bhagavantaḥ kva saṁsiddhāḥ kā vīthī bhavatām iha |
しかるべき供養を捧げたのち、マドゥスーダナ（クリシュナ）は尊き聖仙たちに問うた。「尊者方よ、いずこにて霊的成就を得られたのですか。いかなる道があなたがたをここへ導いたのですか。ここに来られた目的は何ですか。私はいかにしてお仕えできましょう。いかなる理由により、この地上へお越しになったのですか。」この丁重な問いかけにおいて、クリシュナはダルマの作法を示す――まず聖者を敬い、そののち謙虚に、その志と道程、そして捧げうる奉仕を尋ねるのである。
