निरमर्षेष्वचेष्टेषु प्रेक्षमाणेषु पाण्डुषु । पाहि मामिति गोविन्द मनसा चिन्तितो5सि मे
niramārṣeṣv aceṣṭeṣu prekṣamāṇeṣu pāṇḍuṣu | pāhi mām iti govinda manasā cintito 'si me ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。パーンダヴァたちはただ見ているばかりで—憤りも起こさず、救い出そうともせぬ—私はこの上なく無力となり、心のうちにあなたを念じて「ゴーヴィンダよ、私をお守りください」と祈った。かくして、ただあなたの恩寵によってのみ、私の名誉は守られた。
