Message to the Kuru Assembly
एते हापि यथैवाहं मन्तुमरहसि तांस्तथा । सर्वे धर्मविदो होते तुल्यस्नेहाश्व भारत
ete hāpi yathaivāhaṃ mantum arhasi tāṃs tathā | sarve dharmavido hote tulyasnehāś ca bhārata ||
ヴィドゥラは言う――「これらの人々をも、我を思うがごとく思え。我もまたクル族の安寧のみを願って語る、ゆえに我が言を聞け。師ドローナ、クリパ、ヴィカルナ、そしてバーリーカ王もまた汝の益を願う者である。汝は我を敬うように彼らをも敬うべきだ。バーラタの末裔よ、彼らは皆ダルマを知る者であり、両陣営の人々に等しく好意を抱いている。」
