Sanatsujāta-Āhvāna (Summoning Sanatsujāta) — Vidura’s Invocation and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Doubt
अधर्मनिपुणा मूढा लोके मायाविशारदा: । न मान्यं मानयिष्यन्ति मान्यानामवमानिन:,किंतु इस संसारमें जो अधर्ममें निपुण, छल-कपटमें चतुर और माननीय पुरुषोंका अपमान करनेवाले मूढ़ मनुष्य हैं, वे आदरणीय व्यक्तियोंका भी आदर नहीं करते
adharmanipuṇā mūḍhā loke māyāviśāradāḥ | na mānyaṃ mānayiṣyanti mānyānām avamānināḥ ||
サナツジャータは言った。「この世において、不法（アダルマ）に巧みで、理解が迷い、欺きに長けた者どもは、真に敬うべきものを敬わない。尊ぶべき人々を常に侮る習いゆえ、礼拝に値する者にさえ敬意を払わず——アダルマが、善悪を見分ける力と謙虚さそのものを蝕むことを示している。」
