Sañjaya’s Envoy-Speech on Peace
सम्पश्येम॑ भोगचयं महान्तं सहास्माभिर्धुतराष्ट्रस्थ राज्ञ:,हमलोगोंसहित राजा धृतराष्ट्रके पास यह भोगोंकी विशाल राशि संचित हो गयी है। परंतु देखो (इतनेपर भी उनकी तृप्ति नहीं होती)
sampaśyema bhogacayaṃ mahāntaṃ sahāsmābhir dhṛtarāṣṭrastha rājñaḥ
サンジャヤは言った。「見よ――我らとともに、持国王（ドリタラーシュトラ）のためには、享楽と資財の巨大な山が積み上げられている。だが、これほどの豊かさがあっても、満足はなお彼のうちに生じない。」
