वैशम्पायन उवाच ततो गज्जा सुतस्नेहाद भीष्म॑ पुनरुपागमत्‌ | नचास्याश्चाकरोद्‌ वाक्यं क्रोधपर्याकुलेक्षण:

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca—tato Gaṅgā sutasnehād Bhīṣmaṃ punar upāgamat | na cāsyāś cākarod vākyaṃ krodha-paryākulekṣaṇaḥ ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「ジャナメージャヤよ、そのときガンガーは母の愛ゆえに、再びビ―シュマのもとへ来た。しかしビ―シュマは、怒りにかき乱され雲をかぶった眼で、母の言葉に従わなかった。」
