Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
स्तूयमानो जयाशीर्भिनिष्क्रम्य गजसाह्वयात् । कुरुक्षेत्र रणक्षेत्रमुपायां भरतर्षभ
stūyamāno jayāśīrbhir niṣkramya gajasāhvayāt | kurukṣetra-raṇakṣetram upāyāṁ bharatarṣabha ||
ビーシュマは言った。「勝利を告げる祝福とともに讃えられ、送り出されるさなか、私はガジャサーフヴァヤ（ハスティナープラ）を発ち、戦場たるクルクシェートラへと進んだ。おお、バーラタ族の雄牛よ、かくして私は合戦の地へ赴いたのだ。」
