कर्णश्न धार्तराष्ट्रार्थ वर्धयन्ति भयं मम । “यह सब सोचकर मेरे हृदयमें बड़ा दुःख हो रहा है। शान्तनुनन्दन पितामह भीष्म

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「これらすべてを思い巡らすと、わが心は悲嘆に沈み重くなる。シャーンタヌの子にして戦士の最たるビーシュマ、師にして闘士の中で最上のドローナ、そしてカルナまでもが、ドゥルヨーダナの大義のために戦場へ降り立つ。ゆえに、彼らが参戦するという事実そのものが、わが恐れをいよいよ増すのだ。」
