त्वमिमं पुण्डरीकाक्षमप्रधृष्यं दुरासदम् । पापै: सहायै: संहत्य निग्रहीतुं किलेच्छसि,'सुनता हूँ, तू अपने पापी सहायकोंसे मिलकर इन दुर्धर्ष एवं दुर्जय वीर कमलनयन श्रीकृष्णको कैद करना चाहता है
tvam imaṃ puṇḍarīkākṣam apradhṛṣyaṃ durāsadam | pāpaiḥ sahāyaiḥ saṃhatya nigrahītuṃ kilecchasi ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「つまりお前は、罪深い手下どもと徒党を組み、蓮華の眼をもつクリシュナ——攻め寄せることも、打ち倒すこともかなわぬ御方——を捕らえて拘束しようとしているのだな。その一念こそ、お前の道義の盲目と、正法への無謀な敵意をさらけ出している。」
