अत्र तिष्ठति वै स्वातिरत्रास्या उदय: स्मृत: । इसी दिशामें अरुन्धतीदेवी और सप्तर्षि प्रकाशित होते हैं। इसीमें स्वाती नक्षत्रका निवास है और यहीं उसका उदय होता है
atra tiṣṭhati vai svātir atrāsyā udayaḥ smṛtaḥ |
ユパルナは言った。「まさにここに星宿スヴァーティー（Svātī）が住し、その昇りもまたここで起こると知られている。」同じ方角には、アルンダティー女神（Arundhatī Devī）と七人のリシ（Seven Ṛṣis）が輝いて見える——正しい理解と規律ある観察のために用いられる天上の方位標である。
