असहां सर्वभूतानां ममापि विपुलं बलम् | मयापि सुमहत् कर्म कृतं दैतेयविग्रहे
asahāṁ sarvabhūtānāṁ mamāpi vipulaṁ balam | mayāpi sumahat karma kṛtaṁ daiteya-vigrahe ||
ガルダは言った。「我にもまた、万有の生きとし生けるものが一つに集まっても耐え得ぬほどの、広大な力がある。そして我もまた、ダイティヤ族との争いが起こったとき、強大な武勇を示して、まことに大いなる業を成し遂げたのだ。」

The verse underscores the theme of extraordinary capability joined with proven action: true strength is not merely claimed but demonstrated through great deeds in moments of crisis, especially in the face of formidable opponents.
Garuḍa is speaking and asserting his immense power, reminding the listener that he has already shown exceptional prowess in battle—specifically during a confrontation with the Daityas.
