Virāṭa-sabhāyāṃ Saṃniveśaḥ — Assembly at Virāṭa’s Hall and Kṛṣṇa’s Diplomatic Counsel

अथासनान्याविशतां पुरस्ता- दुभौ विराटट्रुपदौ नरेन्‍्द्रौ । वृद्धौ च मान्यौ पृथिवीपतीनां पित्रा समं रामजनार्दनौ च

athāsanāny āviśatāṃ purastād ubhau virāṭa-drupadau narendrau | vṛddhau ca mānyau pṛthivī-patīnāṃ pitrā samaṃ rāma-janārdanau ca ||

ついで最前の尊席には、二人の王ヴィラータとドルパダがまず着座した。集まった諸王のうち、彼らは年長であり、ことさらに敬われるべき存在であったからである。その後、バララーマとジャナールダナ(クリシュナ)も父ヴァスデーヴァとともに座に就き、年齢・位階・しかるべき敬意に従う集会の秩序が明らかとなった。
