ये हन्यु: शस्त्रवेगेन देवानपि नरर्षभा: । त इमे निहता: संख्ये पश्य कालस्य पर्ययम्
ye hanyuḥ śastravegena devān api nararṣabhāḥ | te ime nihatāḥ saṅkhye paśya kālasya paryayam ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った――「武器の勢いひとつで神々さえ討ち得たであろう、雄牛のごとき勇士たち――その当の英雄らが、いま戦場に斃れている。時がもたらす転変を見よ。」
