ते रथैर्नगराकारै: प्रयाता: पुरुषर्षभा: । नेमिघोषेण महता कम्पयन्तो वसुन्धराम्,वे पुरुषप्रवर पाण्डव और श्रीकृष्ण नगराकार रथोंद्वारा उनके पहियोंके गम्भीर घोषसे पृथ्वीको कँपाते हुए बड़े वेगसे गये
te rathair nagarākāraiḥ prayātāḥ puruṣarṣabhāḥ | nemighoṣeṇa mahatā kampayanto vasundharām ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。雄牛のごとき剛の者たちは、まるで城邑のように巨大な戦車で出立した。車輪の轟きは大地を震わせ、彼らは疾風のごとく進む——抗しがたい勢いと王者の威力が、明確な目的の道へと束ねられた姿であった。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores how great power and status (symbolized by immense chariots and earth-shaking sound) are ethically meaningful only when directed with firm purpose; it frames heroic energy as something to be harnessed toward a chosen course rather than mere display.
Vaiśampāyana describes eminent heroes departing swiftly in enormous, city-like chariots; the thunder of their wheels is so intense that it seems to shake the earth, emphasizing the scale and urgency of their movement.
