Service to Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Allocation of State Duties
उत्थायोत्थाय तत् कार्यमस्य राज्ञ: पितुर्मम । सर्व भवद्धिः कर्तव्यमप्रमत्तैर्यथायथम्
utthāyotthāya tat kāryam asya rājñaḥ pitur mama | sarvaṁ bhavadbhiḥ kartavyam apramattair yathāyatham ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「日ごとに幾度も起き出で、常に怠りなく、此の王――わが父――のために必要な務めをことごとく、しかるべき作法で果たせ。すべてを不注意なく、正しい仕方で行うのだ。」この文脈において、ダルマを旨とするユディシュティラは、ヴィドゥラ、サンジャヤ、賢者ユユツに、ドリタラーシュトラの日々の用が疎かにされぬよう命じている。
