Shloka 6

bāḍham evaṁ kariṣyāmi yathā me bhāṣate bhavān | imāṁ hi rajanīṁ sādho nivasasva mayā saha, vidvan |

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights atithi-dharma (ethical hospitality): honoring wise guests, accepting good counsel, and ensuring a traveler’s rest and well-being before continuing the journey.

A brāhmaṇa responds respectfully to a learned person’s advice, agrees to follow it, and invites him to stay the night, rest, and depart in the morning for his intended destination.
