Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes that true worship (yajña) requires samādhāna—mental collectedness and reverent focus—and that honoring rightful cosmic authorities (like Brahmā as lokaguru and lokapitāmaha) is part of sustaining dharma and order.

Vaiśampāyana reports a declaration identifying Brahmā as the great world-preceptor and grandsire, and then addresses the foremost gods, instructing them to perform worship through sacrificial rites with concentrated minds.
